Guided by the leadership of Marty Cook, Recovery Community Solutions is a team of subject matter experts who forge partnerships with local governments. They assist clients in devising actionable and sustainable programs aimed at confronting the opioid epidemic and enhancing addiction treatment efforts.
They provide the solution to the ‘now what?’ moment individuals affected by the opiod crisis face upon leaving treatment, guiding them towards a path of recovery. By offering formal training and continuous coaching, they help provide resources needed to ensure the success and growth of these programs. RCS’s efforts have gained recognition through FOX 32, WGN, and WBEZ radio appearances and have been featured in prominent publications like the Chicago Sun-Times, Daily Herald, and Chicago Magazine.
I had originally just been contacted to design a brochure for RCS to share throughout the community, but they were so pleased with the result that they requested a revamped website to be made with the contents of the brochure. While their former website had all the information, it was less effective in engaging clients and sharing their event information & testimonials.
My approach to RCS’s website revamp was to make it more approachable to drive client engagement. The team wanted their website to advertise who they are, what events they are hosting, and how those recovering from addiction can get help through building community.
