With the first signs of spring already upon us, I’m gearing up for warmer temperatures and what better way to prepare than with a new wardrobe?
As much as I love (read loathe) the black boots/opaque tight combo I’ve been donning every morning without fail for the past 6 months, I’m craving the lighter fabrics, pastel colours and pretty details of the high street’s spring edit. Here’s what’s on my wishlist;
White Lace Broderie Skirt
As a petite gal midi skirts are usually off limits for me but this Supertrash option is too sweet to resist! The see-through broderie gives the illusion of longer legs so it won’t end up swamping my small frame.
Gingham Sweater
I have a major gingham obsession at the moment, there’s just something about it that screams summer strolls, picnics and ice-cream. This versatile J-Crew option can be teamed with jeans, skirts or denim cut-offs and I can definitely see it being a wardrobe staple whether at work or on weekends.
Striped Cotton Dress
Every wardrobe needs a simple skater dresses and this light and breezy option is perfect for summer holidays or weekends in the sun. Accessorise with a tan belt and wedges to go from day to night.
Tan Leather Sandals
These versatile sandals are perfect to pair with any summery ensemble -whether a cute summer dress or poolside kaftan. Plus, they’re Toms which means that every pair you buy will help a person in need. Win, win!
Fun Tee
This fun slogan t-shirt is ideal to throw on with ripped jeans for weekend errands – the motif detail is too cute to resist!
What’s on your Spring/Summer wishlist?
